Peace, Love and Soooooul Train Awards!

The 2011 Soul Train Awards are Taping on November 17 in Atlanta, Georgia, and this years performance line-up is sure to knock your socks off. Hosted by the one and only Cedric the Entertainer, this years nominations are led by Chris Brown
, who is up for: Best Male R&B/Soul Artist, Best Dance Performance and Song of the Year for “She Ain’t You”, Best Hip Hop Song of the Year for “Look At Me Now” and Album of the Year for F.A.M.E..

The longest running show on television celebrates 40 years with its 3rd annual Soul Train Awards. This year honors the music careers of Earth, Wind, & Fire, and the “Empress of Soul,” Gladys Knight. We’ve enjoyed an exciting musical year, and each category this year reflects that excitement. With successful new releases from: Jill Scott, Beyonce, Adele, Jay-Z/Kanye West, Lil-Wayne, and many more, there is no one clear standouts in any category. This years show is slated to air in a special simulcast with the Centric & BET networks on Sunday, November 27, 2011.
