“I’m so happy to see that the honesty, beauty, and love of Kindred’s music is present in Six is It! When I was young I loved watching the Cosby Show to see the ideal black family, but as a wife and mother I truly appreciate seeing a family that reflects a reality that is similar to mine. The struggle is real, but it’s packaged in love and values that we all cherish. Thank for sharing a closer look at our favorite black couple.”

Loyal Kindred fans showed up to support the debut episode in a big way. The low-tech web-based series has received nearly 7,000 views to date with nearly half of the fans of the show flocking to the newly launched www.Kindredthefamilysoul.com on the first day. With only six weeks of low key ‘word of mouth’ promotion online, over 26% of their Facebook Fans joined the Six is It! Fan Group in two weeks.
