Onitsha is a gospel musician that released her first album, Church Girl, on Hidden Beach’s gospel and inspirational imprint Still Waters in April 2007.  The album received positive reviews and it was the album that helped her break onto the Billboard charts, appearing at No. 19 on its Gospel Albums chart.  Her acclaimed producer and co-writer, Shep Crawford, wrote song after song – obeying the unwritten rules of creating great, accessible, popular music, while at the same time stretching – if not breaking altogether – every single one of them.
