Angie wholeheartedly began pursuing a career in music after participating in a showcase at her job. Her boss stunned by her performance told her “If you don’t quit and go pursue your gift, I’m going to do whatever it takes to find a way to fire you!” She knew he was serious.
Since Angie has worked with the best in the business and now after years of contributing to the success of others Angie has decided to come to the foreground! Influenced by artists like Marvin Gaye, Patti Labelle, D’Angelo, PJ Morton, Frank McComb and Lalah Hathaway, Angie has an array of musical tastes. Angie has a story to tell that will resonate with most! She desires to avoid being typecast and wishes to pursue music that reaches a wide audience representative of the artists she has worked with over the years.
Angie is currently working on her debut release on Hidden Beach Recordings. When asked about the outlook for Angie’s career, one of her influences, Lalah Hathaway said, “Angie Fisher is exceptional!
